The Kaghan Valley is in the north-east of Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The valley extends 155 km, rising from an elevation of 2,134 feet (650 metres) to its highest point, the Babusar Pass, at 13,691 feet (4,173 metres).
The Kaghan Valley is a pristine location which is a key choice for the tourists during summer. It is an exotic destination for kayaking, river rafting, jeep safari, fishing (trout is abundant), trekking and hill climbing.

Photos of Kaghan; Aansoo Lake, Kaghan Valley. Ansoo Lake is at 13927 feet (4245 metres) in the Kaghan Valley and is counted as one among the most beautiful lakes of the world. It is situated in the Mansehra District of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It is near Malika Parbat in the Himalayan range.

Photos of Kaghan: Malika Parbat Peak, Kaghan. Malika Parbat (Queen of the mountains) elevation 17,356 ft (5,290 metres) is the highest peak in Kaghan Valley, KPK. It is about six km south of Lake Saiful Muluk near Ansoo Lake.

Photos of Kaghan: Saif-ul Malook Lake. Lake Saif-ul-Malook is located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley near Naran. It is in the north east of Mansehra District, KPK province. Located at an altitude of 10,578 feet(3,224 metres), it is among one of the highest lakes in Pakistan.

Dudiptsar Lake. Dudiptsar Lake or Dudipat Lake is encircled by snow clad peaks in Lulusar-Dudipatsar National Park in the extreme north of the Kaghan Valley, in the Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The word “dudi” means white and “sar” means lake. This name has been given to the lake because of the white colour of snow at surrounding peaks.

Babusar Pass . Babusar Pass or Babusar Top is situated at an altitude of 13,691 feet (4,173 metres) at the north of the Kaghan Valley. It is the highest point in the Kaghan Valley. Babusar Pass connects Kaghan Valley with Chilas on the Karakoram Highway (KKH) via the Thak Nala.

It was here at Battakundi in the Kaghan Valley in September 1904 Aurel Stein took the oath of allegiance to British nationality. From then onwards Stein became “Hungarian born British archaeologist”. However, long before he called Kashmir as his ” adopted home”. And that was 1895. Rest is history.
I saw Naran Valley thrice and I liked it very much.
