Azad Kashmir (Azad Jammu and Kashmir) is a self-governing region under Pakistani control. It was once part of the former princely state of Jammu & Kashmir.
Banjosa Lake, Azad Kashmir. Banjosa city is a small tourist resort located 12 miles from Rawalakot, District Poonch, Azad Kashmir. Rawalakot is approximately 75 miles (120 km) from the capital Islamabad. Banjosa Lake, surrounded by thick forest of whispering pine trees, is a picturesque tourist spot.

Photos of Azad Kashmir: The Chitta Katha Lake. It is located at an altitude of 13,500 feet (4,100 metres) in the Shounter Valley in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. It is only accessible in the months of July and August. Tourists first reach Kel, then take a road from Kel to Shounter Valley. It is recommended to reach the village Utli Domel at night and proceed forward early in the morning. It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach the lake. One can also hire horses from the locals.

i am from Faisalabad, Pakistan. and we visited Kashmir last year 2016, and i fall in love on that places, we friends again going to visit Kashmir in the last of 2017, and after that we also plan in 2018, because after the visit of Kashmir, we not much enjoy on other tours….

Thank you for sharing, I miss my childhood, I miss these places, I still remember suspension bridge, we used to stop for a drink while on our way to Rawalakot, Tararkhal, Palandri, etc. Trust me, it is more beautiful than England, Wales, Australia, Canada….I can only say because I have been to these places and I love to share the fact!!!!!
