Sunnah

The Sunnah specifies the practice of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that he taught and practised himself as a teacher of the Shariah. Sunnah is to be followed in letter ans spirit in performing  religious rites and moulding life in accordance with the will of Allah. To institute these practices was the responsibility of the Prophet (PBUH) as a Messenger of Allah [Quran 3:164][Quran 33:21].
The Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) includes his specific words, habits, practices, and silent approvals. Following the Sunnah is important because it addresses way of life. If an issue is not addressed in the Quran, then the Sunnah is consulted for an answer.
