Major Safdar Ali is from Sher Shah-4 Platoon, 2nd Special Short Course, Tobe Camp, PMA, Kakul, Abbottabad. He opted for Light Anti Aircraft (then a part of Artillery), his parent unit is 29 LAA Regt. After the retirement, he settled in Islamabad where he is running a General Store and also doing real estate business.
